Go for a amazon fire tv box and put stb emu pro , it works wonders

Seriously it can't just be me that thinks the dreamlink is actually horrific nearly everything the wifi card cheap remote and lack of apps and android

StbEmu on any android device will do the trick most of the time, if Kodi is not an option. Unless of course you want to pay premium for expensive set top boxes that do nothing else and still run outdated android software.

Best Try either Dreamlink T1+ Or Latest Avov TV Online N2 as N3 is not out yet.

I'm new to this but I have a Dreamlink T1 that I really like for IPTV. It has an old version of Android that probably won't be updated so you can't get the new version of Kodi but it sounds like that is not a big deal for you. The Dreamlink T1+ is the newer version that has more RAM and PVR but still an old version of Android. I've also ordered a Buzz TV box that has a MAC address plus an open version of Android 5.1, I'm excited to try it out as I've not seen much on it online.

I had an AVOV TV online and I prefer the Dreamlink to it, but it was an old version of AVOV so the new ones may be better.

I would say either a Dreamlink or a Mag. Since you're wanting to use m3u, then you're probably going to have a really bad time, as 3mu sucks balls for iptv. If you want to change your MAC, then a MAG is not in the cards for you, why the heck would you want to change your MAC?

You need to come to terms first with what you want to do, and what you're willing to compromise. A dreamlink will let you change your MAC, but it severely limits you with other things as it using kitkat. Honestly, you're probably going to have to go balls to the wall and get Shield, for everything you seem to think you want to do with it.

Speaking as someone who has also recently gone from the nightmare of using a generic droid box for live tv, I decided to buy a T1 and I highly recommend it. The thing is a beauty. If your wanting a box JUST for IPTV and want PVR, buy a T1+ if cash isn't an issue. Its a shame they don't use android 5.0 for updated KODI, but the EPG is effin awesome you won't regret it especially if you use a provider that supports timeshifting :D

I took the plunge and tried the Dreamlink T1 but it simply was and felt outdated from the getting. It didn't change my channels at the fast rate I saw in videos. It was cumbersome for my use. I'm sure it works for most, but if you are using for strictly for IPTV, then it may be the device for you. But as an overall device for anything past that, the Dreamlink cannot get to the level of a Shield or a Mibox, which have worked wonderful for me. Since many IPTV providers are using Kodi add ons.
