Alternatives to Ruya for UK/Irish channels

by MrBoondigga

I've been using ruya xl for a few months now and while the service is good 90% of the time, I'm starting to get frustrated with streams cutting out at peak time (especially during big football matches) and some other issues such as the bbc channels having audio description added in most of the time.

I'm wondering what alternatives there are out there offering the uk channels? Surely ruya can't be the only game in town

I can vouch for FabIPTV, I really enjoy their service and quality.

You could also try Flawless. Local reseller is /u/maniac1000

I'd like to invite you to try a trial of our service (we're heavy on the uk channels as I'm based in not so sunny Scotland).

Pop in a ticket on our website and I'd be delighted to get you set up, answer any questions you have and to guide you on your first step towards true IPTV :)

For a complete Kodi setup try the Kalmar build. You get a fully integrated TV guide and catch up services. Streams are provided by ntv.mx but at the moment we are offering a free 3 day trial.

You could replace your cable or satellite provider with this simple build.

Try otttv, they have a facebook group. Not sure about posting the link here. Its only £6 a month and its pretty much perfect i think.

What are you using RUYA on? Surely you must be able to change audio stream to one that doesn't have audio description. For example, ProgDVB, I just press the "a" button on my keyboard.

Anyways, in my personal experience over the years, Rapid IPTV is tough to beat. Seems to have all the channels you'd find on sky in the UK section and multiple versions of the Sports channels in case one or two go down and roughly £30 for 3 months.

I'd also recommend going through a reseller rather than directly.

Very satisfied with flawless myself

Panther-IPTV

Personally Ruya is a very good streaming service but over priced, here at Panther IPTV we target the UK/IRISH market for a much more reasonable price
