Any Smoothstreams users out there? I currently have a subscription with Sportsmania expiring soon and was looking to make the switch to Smoothstreams. Is it better than Sportsmania? Pros and cons? etc.

Hey, I've tried both and am currently an SM subscriber who will be switching to SS:
SM pros: big selection of channels, football covered in all qualities upto 1080p
SM cons: ppv never works, has been blighted by some tech troubles but is 95% reliable. App isn't the best, no epg.
Ss pros: uptime seemed to be 100%, most reliable provider I've used. App has chromecast feature.
Ss cons: lack of good quality uk channels, lack of a good calendar function in app.
End of the day with sports I want reliability because it's a social thing for me, so I will switch to SS when my mania sub is up.
Smoothstreams covers every live sport in time order which can be separated by category or all at the same time. The us/Canadian channels broadcast normally but some get changed for a sports event. Day to day events are in 540p bigger events in 720p and 1080p. For the sports fan ideal set up is to have both so you have the channels on sportsmania to watch non live sport and programmes and the live events separate on smoothstreams. Plus you have one as a backup just in case of stream going down.
Sportsmania is now SportsNation.
Afaik they re-sell ss + some other and they have more 24/7 sports channels.
I was with them a while back so my info might be outdated.
Well I am using Smoothstreams and have had no trouble. I use a fire Tv and the HD is very good.
