I'm looking for the best EPG around. Is the dreamlink T1 the way to go? I've been using Kodi with the Mayfair and iVue. It's been OK but Kodi is just...clunky.

T1+ hands down! Runs so fast and so smooth! The extra ram is always a nice bonus and the remote is one of the best I've ever used.
Not to hijack thread, but is T1+ better than MAG254 for recording things as well? Are there any boxes out there that work well for recording things? I like to record certain shows/movies every once in a while
I use a T1 and I love it. If your thinking of getting one I would check out the T1+. For only a few $ more you get PVR capability(providing your provider supports it) and also the better remote, not to mention access to the google playstore. I went from using Kodi for years on generic boxes to a T1 and I never once regretted my decision.
I would caution against a Mag254, based on my experiences.
I've not found a way to change channel numbering (so you're stuck with whatever numbers the providers allocate), which seems a very major omission in something that's supposed to be a replacement for a set top box. And the EPG doesn't display properly, and timeshift doesn't work.
I've not used a T1, but make sure you check in advance that it will do everything you want it to do.
