Need an IPTV provider

by elyn6791

I need a recommendation. Research and trial & error is starting to frustrate me.

I'm just looking for a replacement service for cable, mainly for live TV, and I don't care about sports. Only the regular shoes that I watch and typically DVR.

In that effort I'm trying to setup a Live TV Kodi box with scheduling and DVR functionality.

My main points are

1 legal

2 month to month.

3 no sports if that package exists. Major news networks and broadcast networks though. Viceland HD if available.

4 mainly just USA channels. Don't need 2000+ etc.

5 preferably USA based and hosted

6 could be maybe a backed rental I could customize?

If anyone can recommend a service that fits my needs, please let me know. Just tried Sling and it's crap. Even when you want to watch something on demand, it crashes and you can't resume and skip around reliably forcing you to rewatch entire shows to get back to where you were. This is mainly just a crappy app complaint. You would expect better from any major service provider

I think HDHomeRun may be an option? I haven't test it, but sounds like it fills your requirements. There's also a new Hulu iptv service, try to give a look :)

FabIPTV should have the channels you're looking for, basically all major US, Canadian, UK and Irish channels (all channels are English language), see my review here .

Fab Channel List .

They are based outside the USA, but that helps with the price, and the legality aspect for you. All channels (excluding sport) is currently £4.50 per month, increasing to £6.50 this month at some unspecified point, but if you subscribe now you're locked into the current price.

Link to FabIPTV (referral link) .
