Can I watch on multiple devices as long as not at the same time?

by micah1880

Hi,

I'm looking at a few IPTV suppliers and debating which service to use at the moment.

One question.

If I subscribe to a service that provides a playlist link. Could I have it set up in my living room and bedroom - as long as I never had them on at the same time? Or would the provider know and assume I was sharing my stream?

I would be using IPTV app through Samsung smart TV downstairs and Kodi on a raspberry pi upstairs.

When I have had trials that I have used on my smart TV they have never asked for a MAC address, or anything unique to my device.

Thanks in advance

FabIPTV allow you to use one subscription for as many devices as you please, although not at the same time.

I do this with a Mag in the main room, and watch on VLC on my computer, see my review here .

Fab Channel List .

All channels (Excluding sport) is currently £4.50 per month, increasing to £6.50 next month, but if you subscribe now you're locked into the current price.

I haven't tested a single provider that does NOT allow this. As you indicate, providing you are not streaming simultaneously to more than once device you can have it setup on as many machines as you like.

I was with Ace TV for a while and there setup was a playlist link which is similar to fabiptv. You can set it up on as many devices as you want, if you go on your phone and then simultaneously open a stream on your computer, the stream on your phone will just stop.

Tl:dr; yes you can.

Have you looked into Epicstream?

Most providers allow you to setup on multiple devices, but watch one one at a time. Multiple devices watching at the same time usually requires an upgrade.

Don't forget to check out Epicstream

I have Fab IPTV setup like this (excluding kodi) on all my devices so when I change rooms I can watch it..

Also I would also recommend Epic. Both Epic and Fab are solid but I just use Epic for MAG and not multiroom setup.
