Do you use STB Emulator regularly? If so, with what device and how's your experience so far?
I've been using it with my fire stick and it works pretty decently but I'm looking for a faster streaming device. I tried the Dreamlink T1+ but wasn't a fan and ended up returning it..
I'm now debating if I should get the Mag 254 and keep using the fire stick for netflix, prime video, etc..
Thoughts?
I used a STBEmu on AFTV 4K box and it worked great. The only issue was that I couldnt use the "colored buttons" like a real MAG box. I currently use PerfectPlayer on AFTV box.
I use it on my firestick and love it. The only issue i have is also to not be able to use the coloured buttons from firestick or hdmi cec remote. Other than that its perfectly fine.
Get a Mag 256 instead of 254.
And if you didnt like the Dreamlink how about trying the below boxes
Avov TV online N2 or N3
Buzz TV XPL 2000
yes i have an Android Tv and Nvidia Shield TV and its the only way to go, why buy a box when you can get the same thing only faster on your TV plus its wire free.
If you didn't like Dreamlink T1+ , Mag254 is slower than that. Having said that,
I use Nvidia ShieldTV as my primary streaming device which is basically the "fastest" streaming device you can get right now. I use it for IPTV(via Kodi,Perfect Player and STBemu),Kodi/SPMC,Netflix,Amazon Prime video and Hulu. Obviously it costs $200 and does everything perfectly well.
I also have FireTV (not the stick) in my bedroom which works equally good however it's connected to a 1080p TV so I am not sure how it works on a 4k TV .
My girlfriend has the MiBox which works fine too. However It's not my favorite device personally because I feel it just stutters a bit sometimes.
