I normally have my T1 hardwired and have zero issues with connectivity. I've been away from home for a few weeks and have no choice but to connect by wifi. For the first few weeks I had zero issues but recently I started noticing a lot of buffering.
I ran speedtest on my T1 and I'm only getting about 1.5 Mbs now where previously on the same wifi I was getting 25-30. On my laptop I'm pulling 75+. Earlier today I ran a factory reset and the problem persists. Has anyone had similar issues with their Wifi antenna shitting the bed on their T1 and were you able to figure out a solution?
That seems fairly strange for a wifi card to just slow down out of the blue. If probably suggest trying a speedtest on a different network (friends or family) to see if it's an issue with the box directly or if there is something else wrong. If you confirm it's the dreamlink, if you bought it from an authorized source dreamlink is really good about warranties. Just take it back where you got it.
I know you tried your laptop and it's fine, but that wouldn't tell you specifically if your router has issues with the dreamlink itself.
Process of elimination suggests the next logical stop is to reproduce the issue of a different network and go from there. Keep us posted!
