Fab IPTV is king

by slickdickninja

So, over the last few weeks I've dove into the IPTV world to enhance my I-BOX 2 because I wanted more than just Kodi and I have been missing live TV. And in that time I've tried the Player's Klub, Epic Streams, and Smash. None of them either was fully working with all channels, either the EPG never could come up, or setup was never really explained or showed much support after the purchase. Well now I think I'll stick with this one because it's all working first try, setup a breeze, and the site has very lamens terms for people who aren't network engineers haha. I'm using the Perfect Player also to run it and fixing to just add to Kodi. But wanted say IMO Fab is the way to go.

its good but lacks international channel listing. Hopefully the channel list grows.

imo gecko iptv seems best in terms of price and offering

I have SmoothStreams and it's great but it's event based instead of 24/7. I tried Fab and was quite impressed. Tried Epic and it buffered for me especially on international channels. Currently trying Ace and it's very good. So for now SS + either Fab or Ace. Thinking about giving Vader a try, normally it's like $20/month but one reseller has for $12. I play the streams via Kodi, so a nice plugin is a bonus.

It gotta be good, there aren't many channels at all. But for real guys, don't get more than 1 month, don't be a cheap bastard, this ain't legit and may go down at any moment.

Summing up FabIPTV as the way to go is kinda pushing it into a "most overrated service pimped on Reddit" territory imo.

I mean don't get me wrong, as I actually think it's pretty decent. Lots of overall surface potential, and certainly looks great around the edges (especially since the Ivue integration).

That said, let's call spades spades here. The guide accuracy still needs some serious work, the per/mo price isn't as cheap as it used to be (if you have to buy 6 or 12 months to get a sub-$10 price... then it's not really a sub-$10 service imo. Long term IPTV commitments should be avoided like the plague), and it certainly doesn't stick out in the competitive crowd as far as consistent feed stability goes.
