Passing along a trial of Gears TV until Friday.
They have a Kodi addon with a guide along with an APK.

looks like they are using a high bitrate, so the channel quality is pretty good
Anybody get the guide working with it?
An iptv to avoid. SD channels labelled as 1080p, 90% of channels always 'under maintenance', owner has a loud mouth.
was looking for the APK. thanks for posting right link
So guide is now working through M-TV add on. Fully populated and accurate as far as I can tell so far as well. Looks fantastic too.
Ok, color me very very impressed atm. People definitely need to check this free trial out imo.
Works well so far for me. It's the only iptv I've tried so far that has the actual working US/not Canadian - Disney, Nick, Freeform and probably more. I would have liked to try with Perfect Player. Do they have m3u links, the app isn't as user friendly?
This is kinda reminding me of FabIPTV. Just with a populated guide, better overall channel stability, and slightly better picture quality.
If the $15 had multi room coverage it might have even given Vader a run for my money. My girl likes it more so far based on the prettier guide that still works factor lol. Like me she really likes that she can pause it in kodi too.
Any way to try it with out the apk?
I was testing it out last night. I was also pretty impressed with it. It was pretty stable running through Kodi and the guide was on point. Some of the video didn't seem 1080 at all...But that's not a big deal for me. My internet connection isn't great and 1080 seems to buffer for me most of the time. I like the service...But I've got a couple others that I'm currently subbed with that I'm enjoying as well. However, I'm still considering signing up. There's a deal on at one place that offers a bundle pack (their service and Gears together) for a pretty reasonable price.
I don't know, I'm somewhat surprised so far to be honest. Picture quality on what I have watched (they do cheesily label everything 1080 regardless if it is or not) has been been pretty top notch as far as IPTV standards go. ESPN has been on for about an hour now without any buffering/drops too, which is more then i can realistically say for most of the regular providers hyped here minus Vader. I can also seem to pause ESPN on SPMC which i can't do on Vader. Not seeing the non-working channels thing being more of an issue then you'll typically find elsewhere either (in fact i've yet to find one)
That said no working guide is probably a deal breaker for me, as I learned a long time ago to never fork over money based on "coming soon" promises. Definitely worth the look while it's free though, no question. Regardless how much of fool that front man acts like over on youtube.
