Just got a box so I'm still learning the ins and outs but does anyone know if there is a list of apks that are more friendly with a remote? I added Aptoide market and thought everything there would be more android box friendly. Like I have MLB tv and the app is phone/tab version and just doesn't run smooth like on fire tv. Same goes for WWE network app.
Really no big deal, impressed with iptv and got Kodi all working now. I just really like browsing media apps and like to see what's out there.
They seem to be using a curated version of the aptoid market, it's not the full one. A bunch of the apps in their version are phone/tablet versions. There doesn't seem to be any way to sideloaded apps. I was able to access some apk's that I have on my network through a file browser, but they will not install. Also, many apps require Google Framework to work anyway, and there's no way to install that either. Your only real choice is an Android box that supports IPTV middleware and has Google Play Store/Google Framework with native support.
