Hello /r/IPTV –
Well...we never really went anywhere...but...
First, I wanted to personally apologize for our lack of presence here on Reddit. My nightmare started with the IPTV Express fiasco and to be honest our customer base boomed in such a short period of time. Between the pain of ensuring a seamless renewal experience as well as managing customer concerns, answering Reddit PMs asking for free trials and more information were the least of my worries.
First of all, I want to give a lowdown of exactly what's changed since I've been around here:
- We obviously no longer support IPTV Express, also known as Odyssey. All active services were terminated and so were their concurrent billing agreements.
- We no longer accept PayPal and Credit Cards due to various reasons. In short, I am tired of chargebacks and fraud that happens on these two platforms and it's costing me more money than I would like. Here is the letter that was sent out to customers:
Over the course of the past few weeks, we have seen a significant increase in chargebacks and fraudulent charges from PayPal and Credit Card transactions.
As a result of this activity, we have decided to remove the capability to pay via PayPal and Credit Card and now limit all transactions to a series of Cryptocurrenies for your convenience. The coins that we accept include:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- BlackCoin (BLK)
- Dash (DASH)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- Etherium Classic (ETC)
- Etherium (ETH)
- Namecoin (NMC)
- Novacoin (NVC)
- PotCoin (POT)
- Peercoin (PPC)
- StartCOIN (START)
- STEEM (STEEM)
- Vertcoin (VTC)
- Monero (XMR)
You can easily purchase Bitcoin, Etherium or Litecoin from Coinbase using a Credit Card, Debit Card or Bank Account. You can also purchase Bitcoins for cash using services like LocalBitcoins.
With this being said, effective immediately, all pending invoices have been converted to accept a cryptocurrency payment. In addition, all PayPal automatic payment agreements have been cancelled. Finally, Credit/Debit card data has never been stored on our servers here at Mission Control with the exception of the last four digits. All of this data has been purged from our databases and backups.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause and if you have any questions, please contact Mission Billing ( billing@iprocket.net ).
From all of us here at Mission Control, we thank you for your continued support and hope to see you again in the near future.
Now there appears to be a concern with the ease of renewals and potentially auto-renew. As a result, we have opened the ability to purchase subscriptions in 3 or 6 month blocks.
My PMs are back open and you're more than welcome to reach out with any questions but your best bet would be to email us at hello@iprocket.net .
Thanks,
– /u/insiderip
No discount for 3 or 6 month subs? Doesn't look too lucrative tbh.
