Hello, I currently subscribe to IPGUYS service from iptvplanet.ca the service has been choppy for about a week. does anyone know the status of ipguys? I have 2 MAG254 boxes and they are both choppy. I have 60mb down, and 10mb up so its not my internet (Verified with Speedtest.net)
I've had mine on 24/7 and I haven't noticed anything wrong.
just subscribed to IPguys on IPTVPlanet.ca last night. So far no "choppy" issues. Only issue discovered so far is audio sync issues on CBC Newsworld. Sub is on a Dreamlink T1 Plus on cable 100 download.
Can you do a speedtest with the mag to see what you get?
May isn't capable of 60mbps so you need to do the test on the device's having the issues.
If it's just been a week or so though and nothing has changed, it's probably not the boxes but at least it's a start.
Was watching it tonight at a friends place and the service was fine. It's possible your ISP might be doing traffic shaping on the service. Some people have noticed when they use a vpn that their service no longer stutters or lags to shit. If you have a router that supports a vpn I would suggest trying that, or if you have the know how to put a linux box on your network as a vpn, try that.
