Man I know this feeling so well. I've been trying out a lot of different services since Express had that major outage a couple of months ago and found that FabIPTV comes closest when it comes to the English channel lineup, picture quality and catchup. They won't fulfill your need for South Asian channels though and their VOD selection sucks.
I can also recommend LiteIPTV which I don't see many people discussing on here very often but I've been a subscriber for over a year now and it's my gold standard for stability. They just don't have as many HD channels as Express

Epicstreams is fantastic for stability and quality. Not sure how the channel lineup compares though but they have enough to serve my needs.
