KODI - IPTV PVR Addon suggestion

I just signed up to FabIPTV and I am using IPTV simple PVR

But my immediate issue with such add-on is that I can't remove the channels I will never watch...

Ideally I would have my favourites somewhere and those would be the ones I see when I check my channels.

I mean +8000 channels is nice, but it is a bit much...

The other thing that would be nice, would be to be able to set a reminder for a certain show.

Can anybody suggest a good PVR add-on that would do something like favourites and reminders?

Go into Kodi's settings to the LiveTV and PVR section. Once there, in the General section, find the Group Manager. Disable groups you don't want here, or do what I do - create a new group with only the channels you typically watch, and use that group.

It sure would be nice if the non IPTV stuff could be left to Fab's addon, though, to speed things up.

They are working on a solution to this exact problem as of last night. You should see a responce on their forums regarding this within the next few days I'd imagine.

I believe they will be creating a "live channels" category so you do not see the vods but can still access if you want to via the app or by switching the category back to "all channels".

Perfect Player can set favorites, I found the interface to be better than the Fab addon in Kodi as well
