IPTV Buffering

by MerlinsLoveChild

Recently I moved appartments and I've been getting MAD buffering on my new cable. I'm guessing it's my ISP throttling my bandwidth as I can stream Netflix 4k with no issues and I get download speeds of 100mb/s.

Does anyone have a workaround? I've tried changing my DNS to another public one on my Fire TV but still keep getting problems. Do VPNs that work on Fire TVs effectively exist? I've been using Flawless (which I've loved!) but would it be best to try another provider...

Any help I'd appreciate

if you access Neflix online (browser) as opposed to an app then you can install Private Internet Access as an extension of chrome browser and set it to exclude Netflix. Not sure if this is a solution for you but may be worth a try.

Hey, you could try a VPN but i would advice that you get a router that allows you to configure the DD-Wrt or Tomato firmware. If a VPN is installed on your Firestick you may still experience buffering because of the processing load by the VPN encryption.

You can also check our server EPICSTREAM here for a 24hr trial to see if you have buffering or even need a Vpn
