Vader Streams keeps getting worse

It's bad enough that half the catchup links barely even play nowadays, but now they have removed channels such as Fox Sports 1 and 2. Which is a major loss to UFC fans.

On top of the overall service stability decline (certainly not "zero buff" anymore), tanking the one feature aspect they had going for them over everybody else is a major major fail imo.

But hey...they've added more random foreign channels, and the guide takes twice as long now to fully load on all of my non-nvidia shield devices (unless you are on a firestick, then you can just stare at that loading VOD at 0% forever). Yay. I mean who wants stability anyway.

I used to use them and have a few friends who still do but not for long if it keeps going as it is.. not too sure what's going on with them? Have you heard anything? Service seems to be slipping

Turning off Catchup for those chans was a mistake open a ticket on the ACTUAL vader website, and it probably would have been handled faster.

And no this has nothing to do with adding more channels, those streams are isolated on different servers, there's quite a few things at work here.

#1 catchup was mistakenly disabled when we added 3 more catchup servers as they were running out of space

#2 the vod stuck on loading is a mistake in the code, and is actually becuase the VOD import from into kodi library is disabled in your settings ( so it never starts)

#3 Buffering issues are always problematic, as the internet works in mysterious ways,

You can buffer for any of the follwing reaons, and combination of reasons

1 - The source stream is having issues inputting into Vader 2 - Vader server is overloaded 3 - The client device has a poor connection to the router 4 - The client router has a poor connection to the intrnet 5 - The client ISP throttles traffic that is not 'premium'

The most common reasons across all IPTV including Vader is 1,3,4,5 the Vader servers are not overloaded. Most recently #5 has been a very serious issue with Comcast users in particular. Comcast usually wants Hosting companies, CDNs, etc ( think google, netflix, etc ) to pay a tax to make sure there traffic doesn't get throttled. i.e) they want to make more money so they slow traffic down until users complain.

What ISP are you on Greencon...

As mentioned before if you have issues, then please use the correct avenues to report, and action will be taken. IE fox sports was re-enabled on Catchup today.

Watching live events are fine, watching any catch up tv or videos on demand seems to buffer a lot. My Internet speed test shows no issue. This have been on going for approximately 2 weeks now.

They took off those 2 channels? I am still on my first month. Figured all the buffrring was same for all servers. Fab was alright too. If it don't get better I guess I will go back to Fab. 1 thing I like about Vader is the 3 devices, although I haven't really used or tested that out much yet.

I agree why do these providers add 5,000 channels in all coutries and it make going through the guide/groups clunky and not easy.

should have deciated servers and service so you can pick and choose which service. Example Server 1 US/CA/SPORT 100.00 and another server for 10.00 Server 2 Japan 100.00 and another server for 10.00 Server 3 UK etc 100.00 and another server for 10.00

I use fog with SmoothStreams and it’s a full epg. SS only has 170 channels but it’s very high quality and the addon is nice. They put a lot of work into their service and it’s mainly heard towards the USA and UK a little. I’m in New York and it’s amazing I will never not be with SS. I just bought 2, 6 month plans and my acct. is good now until Aug 2018.

ESPN and ESPN2 are also no longer under catchup since last week. I don't usually mind tbh except when there are sporting events on espn every once in a while.

I got excited seeing that ESPN/ESPN2 were back on catchup, but everything I try to watch says file missing. Also, why is the quality of FS1 so much better than the ESPN channels?

My Vader sub expires on 7/24. I won't be renewing. I mostly watch CNBC in the morning and Vader CNBC source was frozen or the sound was off. I've decided to just keep Smoothstream and just re-subbed for another 3 months.

The new Kodi maintenance wizard and guide add-on that got added tonight is looking pretty bad ass fwiw. Changes like that = good.

Now get stability dialed back in to where it was and we'd be back to gold star status.
