You can use xtream-editor to do channels and EPG if you subscribe to the gold version

Also if you on Nvidia shield (not sure on android tv) press VOICE search from within shield menu and say "channel bbc one hd" it will then play direct your bbc one hd, if have more than one supplier in your m3u, just voice search the channel name i.e bbc one, then you can pick what one. VOICE activated IPTV :)

I'm gonna try this. The problem with most IPTV apps is they don't work well with a basic remote like the shield or mi box remotes.

Are you able to get the side categories in live channels to line up with the groups you set up in xtream editor? I seem to only see the default 'Family/Kids, Sports, Movies, etc.' categories

Question: Doesn't iptv-epg also output a playlist file? Why not use that instead of setting up and paying for iptv-epg and xtream both?

Load it locally like you have been. Then go back into the settings and click on playlist URL and type it in and try . I seem to vaguely remember having the same problem once or twice. Just keep trying different ways of going between local.file and url

So this very clearly looks badass, with it's integration. I have a shield tv and this will be my day-off project on Tuesday. I have a t1+ and really enjoy it's EPG. But lately, I've been using stbemu on the shield tv because it's just so much faster than the dreamlink. Have you used a dedicated IPTV box? Do you much prefer this live channels integration? Stbemu can just be buggy sometimes, so I'm hoping I like it as much as I think I will. The power under the hood of the shield tv is just so much better than any other box I've ever used and would like to strictly use that, but need a strong iptv experience on it. Lastly, what IPTV sub are you using?

hi there, noob at this. Trying to follow your directions to the tee. I have created a list in xstream and loaded it. I have vaders. M3u is the site url, epg is from iptv-epg.com as you described. I am not seeing the organization you had in your guide, only a single list with 12k+ channels for all the streams available. Any tips?

Is there an alternative than paying for xtream?

I've decided to try get this set up. Followed your guide but for some reason I'm only seeing 26 channels in TVIrl. I'm using Vader, and have 1200 when i load them into xtream but then only 26 when imported to TVIrl. I get all 1200 when I skip xtream and use the Vader links but then it's just a mess. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi i know this app is only android base like its stated but why doest it work on a Phillips android tv it allows you to install the app app but not to add the m3u file in settings just doesnt not go to the next screen?
