Has anybody else noticed that Ruya XL for kodi has gone shit or is it just me?
I have an android shield box and have been using this (the most expensive) iptv provider for nearly a year now. I have the full package for all channels plus VOD and catchup yet since the first month none of the VOD or catchup streams have worked. I overlooked this as I can watch all of that via exodus and there were no issues with any of the sports channels which was the primary reason for signing up in the first place.
Recently though there has been an update and nearly all of the sports channels have disappeared with the exception of the English sports channels but these are also very flaky.
The feedback from the service provider has been non-existent. I have messaged them 6 times with no reply. For a service that is charging as much as they are, I thought you would at least get a decent experience from them.
Has anybody else used this service and experienced these problems? At the minute I would highly recommend avoiding this service like the plague.
Instead of the Kodi addon, have you tried running it via STBEmu? Your provider may say otherwise but Ruya does work via STBEmu - I don't have the server address ready but just tell them that you got a new MAG box and you need the server ip.
The problem with VOD and catch-up sounds like they just activated the standard package for you and they need to update that. Channels issue could be due to their addon - STBEmu will show you all available channels directly from Ruya.
I have used Ruya from another provider and I had an okay experience - definitely not on par with the premium price I paid. However, if a channel worked, the quality was great and I had no buffering issues.
