I am really waiting for the new MAG, hopefully they drop soon.

If you don't care about 4k I would recommend a Nexus player if you can find one.

For ease of use, MAG is the way to go. They're rock solid. From my experience, Dreamlink T1 Plus has the best EPG. All depends on what's important to you. Source: Research and I own both.

Best box? I'd say a Mag certainly but I do like an android device like a FireTV, or an Android Box

So many biased opinions in here. But the fact of the matter is it depends what you want to use it for. Every person is different.

I've owned most of them, and while sorta outdated you can check my video reviews of a few of them including the dreamlink and the mag in the stick over at /r/iptvgta.

Realistically, you shouldn't even have to think about it. If you want the best iptv experience, the mag is the go to for support and rock solid reliability. If you want a cable company or satellite receiver type interface with a little android on the side, get the dreamlink.

If you want the best possible android box for apps or if you are an nvidia pc gamer, get the shield.

3 top of the line boxes. All very different usage.

Should be simple to make such a decision based on your needs.

If you still aren't sure what box you need, maybe iptv isn't for you. The hardware is the easiest decision you'll make. Wait until you start choosing servers.

If you are focused on IPTV only, try Dreamlink T1 Plus (can hold Kodi but not the latest 17.3 atm) or MAG256. If you want great IPTV and latest kodi ability, try BuzzTV XPL2000. It is my understanding that Dreamlink will be releasing a newer model later this year that will have latest kodi support and 2GB ram.

If your IPTV will be run through Kodi, definitely check out the Minix boxes like the Neo U9H and Zoomtak. Great over all boxes with proper remotes.

IMO, the best box is the NVIDIA Shield TV. Most versatility and power.
