Using smart IPTV app on a hi sense TV, I was watching some video on demand through my IPTV service provider.

A lot of the movies have black bars on the left and right of the screen, as well as the usual top and bottom.

I can't seem to change this, the aspect ratio is locked when I go into the TV settings. No option to zoom or anything. I don't think there is an option in smart IPTV to change this.

Normal IPTV streaming is fine, just the VOD stuff.

I tried the same movie on my phone using perfect player and it was fine!

Would this be a hisense TV problem or smart IPTV? Any ideas?
