Im looking for something pretty much like ivue tv guide that runs well on a gen 1 amazon fire tv. Ivue has always been too buggie for me and with PIP (picture in picture) enabled, the app always freezes. So anyone know of alternatives? Something like perfect iptv player with pip would be.. perfect.
Mayfair pro generally does what you're asking for. Should be able to run just fine on a fire tv as long as kodi runs fine.

If you're using an IPTV provider that works with them, On-Tapp.tv is the best looking EPG I've seen. It works with Kodi only. You'll want to install the plugin of your preferred provider first.
Check your provider provides an EPG .xml. if they do. Kodi and PVR simple IPTV client. you'll find it in addons-> PVR
Side load kodi and use one of the PVR add-ons?
