I currently only have sportsaccess viewed through a Kodi addon on my Shield TV. I am looking for a simpler UI experience for my less technically inclined significant other. I was hoping using a IPTV through Perfect Player would be a good solution. So far, I only see FabIPTV that thoroughly support Perfect Player. Are there any other IPTVs that I should consider?

Take a look at BIG MEDIA, i find the stream reliable and they tell you ahead of time when they will be doing maintenance.
Perfect is alright, but I find STBemu or Live channels much easier to use. Almost any service will work with either of those apps. STBemu requires you register a virtual MAC with the provider though because it basically acts just like a MAG box.
In answer to your question, anyone who supports M3U Links or will provide, that is 99% of providers, you have some who only support MAG or want you to use a app.
What you want to check is do they have a EPG feed as in Perfect Player you would input the EPG Feed and M3U Link for channels. Now you have now and next, ideally you also want to ask for the m3u_plus link which most providers provide but at times forget, this variant includes logos etc
I use Epic in Perfect Player, and it works very well and has an accurate EPG.
