The only way I've been able to do this was using the stalkertv app. The searching is Damn fast sorta like finder on the Mac. You can even search partial stuff like fox would find fox news and fox sports etc.
The downside is not many providers support it.

I can do this on GSE IPTV on my phone and it is indispensable. In fact, I do search for channels like CNN and then quickly compare quality of sources?
Too bad it can't be accomplished in the Dreamlink T1+, which appears to be a great box, otherwise.

What exactly do you mean by channel titles? The only search tool I have found is for VOD titles.
