I am assuming this is the Nvidia Shield TV, Gen 1 and gen 2 are the same hardware so no big differences, Lowest price I have seen them new is 179.99 so $100 with 2 controllers is not bad. I have the original controller and its great but has horrible battery life so it may be better to get the Asus ones.

For mainly Ace or Epic use consideration I'd take a pass.
You can buy a brand new Firetv or even a Mi Box +1 month sub for less then that, and both are equally capable of giving you the same IPTV experience a brand new shield will give you. Much less a used one. The extra specs on the shield don't amount to crap as far as IPTV goes. If anything, you are probably better off going the stalker box route over all 3 of the above.
The old remote is actually better then the new one, so that's a con too since the 2 controllers instead is kinda meh imo. I'd make the trade in a heartbeat for my 2017 Shield to have the headphone jack back. In fact I'd of dumped this controller already if getting the mic to work with anything else decent wasn't such a pita.
