I have been looking at buying a set top box lately and from what I have found, the Dreamlink T1 plus seems to be the best option (if it is not, let me know what is better).
To me, the biggest feature of this box is the PVR functionality, however I have been looking around the web and have not found much information on it.
First of all, is it able to pause and rewind live TV? This is the function I want most since catchup solves a lot of dilemma with recording shows.
Also, when recording shows. If I were to record a show that is different from the one that is currently being watched, would that require two streams?

If you are buying the Dreamlink for the PVR function...don't. It doesn't work very well. It records but scheduled recording doesn't work well. Its a single tuner, so you can't watch a different show while recording something. You can pause live TV, but it never restarts from the same place. It goes back about 10 mins then you can't fast forward. Its buggy to say the least.
The T1 is a great box and does IPTV as well as any box on the market, but true PVR function is not one of its features.
