What vpn do you use with IPTV?

by segaman1

I'm looking to run a vpn on dreamlink t1 plus. I want to see what others use from here.

I use ExpressVPN. I have tried a few other VPN's and they are my favorite, plus fastest provider. I have been with Express for a year now and haven't had any problems.

Your speed only drops 5-10mb from your normal speed while using the vpn? If so that's impressive and I might have to switch.. my house connection is 200mb but with vpn active it really falls out the bottom. I thought I was having provider problems with all the buffering, then started running speed tests and noticed it would dip down to 1.5mb occasionally. No wonder streams are buffering

I run IPVanish. Once I figured out that the nearest server actually didn't get me as consistently high a speed as the second closest, it's been pretty solid.

I tried some others before that, and didn't find any (including some mentioned here so far) that matched it in terms of sacrificing less speed. I also ran into problems I didn't with IPVanish when it came to other stuff recognizing that I was using a VPN instead of just trying to cheat any "no multiple IP" rules.

Wish the app would remember that I set it to best available for that server location, which I have to reset every single time I re-connect, but other then that it gets my current recommendation.

I use PIA on a 74Mbit connection and lose just a few of those bits

I'm looking into getting IPTV . Can someone explain why it's used for iptv if you live in the US? I know why people use it for torrents.

I just got NordVPN, and I might request money-back. Getting 25mb speeds on 100mb net. I might try PIA next. Only issue I have is PIA is headquartered here in USA so big privacy flag.

Yeah I realize that, the 1.5mb connection was causing buffering though.

I tried bulletvpn, which didn't give good speeds (bit better than NordVPN) so dropped it. Trying vyprvpn now and getting very good speeds- 90megs to their NY server on 100meg net. I might keep this. They are also headquartered in Switzerland, which is a huge benefit over USA like PIA/IPVanish, and they allow 5 simultaneous connections. Still running more speed tests. Got 60meg to mexico lol. Jeez!

I use this VPN . They have long been one of the most popular and reliable VPN providers out there. The reviews are great and I’ve never had problems with them.

They have a special offer running right now: only $3,29 a month if you choose a 2-year plan. That is seriously cheap for a VPN.
