I was wondering is it possible to organize channels from m3u playlists at any specific iptv player?
I would like to add my own favorites (for faster find) or create a new category for myself.
When there is a lot of channels it turns into pita.

I use Xtream editor.
There's probably only 100 or so channels that I'll actually watch from the 3000+ available.
I've made a "My Channels" group in Xtream, disabled all the other groups and use iptv - epg for my guide.
Using this right now with Android TV Live Channels app and TVirl app, it's been fantastic so far.
Only been using iptv for 1 week, but this feels pretty much like cable / satellite to me..

I've found the initial work needs to be done. My M3U had 5000 channels in it. Once I went through and removed all the groups I don't want it was cut down significantly. There are a lot of channels you will probably never watch and its just easier to remove them.
sure, you can edit you m3u manually, check a thread from a week ago about how people edit their m3u.
