How much can an m3u file be shared?

Hi there,

I recently bought an IPTV subscription. Came in the form of an m3u file. All channels are working.

I emailed the file to my friends to watch something recently and some worked some had problems. It was a big event and I ended up hooking up about 30 friends. All were using VLC on Windows, Mac, and Android. I think internet strength was the largest factor, followed by VLC, but some experienced.

Is there a restriction on IP addresses and does multiple users affect the playback speed?

You're lucky you have not been banned by provider yet.

Of course there are concurrent stream from single IP restrictions, your provider must be a little lost or till they find out what you done and block you.

You gave out your link to 30 ppl for free to watch the big fight? You might have ruined it for the ones who actually paid! If you don't want to pay for IPTV there's plenty free links etc around. I hope you lose your sub.
