Basically I get slow speeds on my router using OpenVPN. I know it's due to processing limitations but using L2TP, my DL speeds are brilliant.
L2TP doesn't encrypt traffic, it just redirects it, do you guys think that is sufficient enough to use or should I just stick to OpenVPN?

Do you have another device, like an old PC hanging around? It's quite easy to build an OpenVPN gateway server and route all your TV through that.
