Can anyone recommend me a good iptv service? what im looking for is:

  • Stable, i ll setup kodi on an android tv box for my sister, Dont want her calling me every 2-3 days telling me about the problems she is facing :P
  • I only care about Us-Uk channels, movies/tv-shows/Reality. No sports
  • Good EPG
  • I would like to be able to use the service on 2 different machines from 2 different ip adresses without paying for a second subscription if it is possible, or at least not paying double!

Vader is your best overall bet going to Kodi route (although you'll want SPMC instead). You can also set it's EPG to load as soon as Kodi/SPMC opens, and then save filter channels in and out on even on an individual basis. Obviously takes a little more time to set up, but putting all her channels she watches most often at the very top of the guide list tends to keep things a lot more simple imo.

Now how much you can expect to have her calling you with that or any service for that matter is an entirely different equation ;)

Rule #1 for me there is always to make sure she's running a hardwired internet connection though, fwtw. If it's wifi and she's not very tech savy...it's just not worth the overall hassle/headache that comes with that.

Try Vader streams

With most providers, multiroom has to be under same ip except unless it's on cell phone network.

You would be stuck to a handful of providers who allow multiple ip. Flawless/Fab are pretty decent but they don't allow separate ips.

I would stay away from the goodfellas gfservers. Com

I have yet to find anything I'd recommend to a friend that's not techy and just wants reliable TV. Currently have Vaders and right as you're getting into a show 20 or 30 mins in it'll buffer or stop and you've gotta wait or change channels to get it back. Or the other scenario where I'll flip through and see what's in the EPG and really wanna watch it but with my luck it'll be the one channel that won't load. Currently using it mainly for VOD which has a pretty good selection.

Previously have had Fab, and trials for WSS, Epic, and Ace. While they all have US channels they're almost all geared towards UK and there's lots of errors and innacurate channels and channels with no EPG for their US lineups. Out of those would probably only recommend Ace or WSS.

Check out Wildside.

I've been using GearsTV as my backup and the Mayfair EPG is really good.
