+1 ACE does not work with NFL games. I ordered the 24 hour trial for 2 pounds for the Thursday Chiefs @ Pats game, would play NBC HD feed for about 90 seconds, and then freeze.
Reboot Android box, change hardware settings, did not solve issue. Opened ticket with support and got back "it works for us..."
I am using a new nVidia Sheild with a hardline 300 Mbps connection.
I had same problems. Buffering like no tomorrow.
To be fair to Ace, they advised users to reboot their devices which solved the issue for most. I managed to watch most of the football with some minor buffering which is acceptable if you fully appreciate what IPTV is all about.
ACE TV is pants, been with them a few months, seemed OK at first but finding now that loads of channels often don't open or are unwatchable.
I have been using it with VPN with no issue and no buffering, I'm on 5mbs broadband.
If you don't use vpn it becomes a nightmare.

FWIW, I watched that game on Smoothstreams and Gearstv and not a buffer in sight. YMMV.
