Missing channel groups with Apollo on Perfect Player

by Meth_Rollins

I recently just purchased a sub from IPRocket, originally hoping to use it with STB emulator on my android box. STB emulator doesn't work with my box very well so I tried to use it in Perfect Player. After entering the m3u url as well as the EPG, I can get channels to load just fine. However, there is only one group - All channels, instead of broken up like I've known ACE and Fab to do. Has anyone else had this issue? Could it be that I originally signed up to use with STB?

EDIT: It's actually Pioneer that I subbed for if that matters. Not apollo

You should ask for the BIG m3u that has channels, logos etc, you probably got just the simple list of channels, most providers provide both versions.

I'd recommend iptv-epg.com so you can make your own lists easily and have an accurate EPG.

If you put the M3U url in a web browser and download or view the text file you'll see if there are groups in there or not. If not ask the provider if they have an m3u list with groups. If it does have groups then something in perfect player needs to be configured.
