IPTV on windows that isn't in a browser?

by MakeAmericaGreat9

I want to use my ace account on my spare computer, and I don't wanna use kodi. Ive heard stalker based providers are shit on kodi. I was hoping there is a solution that will still show a standard epg like a regular cable provider would

Anyone have an ideas?

Some people use VLC player on windows for iptv. I'm not sure if it works with Ace.

You mean like Perfect Player? http://niklabs.com/ Personally I liked using the in browser streaming for the IPTV I used since I can actually just hit the search up top but I did try Perfect Player and it also worked.

M3U through Perfect Player works very well on PC. Guide works well. Just no way to access features like Catch-up. If VOD is listed in the M3U it will be available as well. I have seen some people say that the guide doesn't work in PP, but it does. After downloading the channel list and EPG data, you have to click on "Auto" above the EPG to set the channels/guide data.

Then when you go into the player and hit the EPG button at the top, your data will be there.

Maxnet iptv - you can add epg url and m3u url.

You can also right click, schedule and set up timer recordings.
