It's not 1080 lol. They just slap the tag on everything regardless what it truly is, and it gets constantly repeated as fact in their youtube chat by tech noobie fanboys of the service who don't know any better and rarely have much comparative IPTV experience outside youtube sponsored crap.

With that said though their picture quality is definitely pretty dang solid as far as IPTV standards go.

If nothing else Gears is a pretty hot and cold service with a questionable track record at handling heavy traffic. Given he wasn't around talking up the fight, NFL coverage, and his their newer stuff this weekend, which Target basically exists for...I personally wouldn't bet on it atm.

I keep a couple active streams going, gears is one of them. Gears is currently buffing pretty bad, losing sound, channels not tuning in at all etc. when it works, it has a really nice picture.. too bad I keep having to load up the epic stream cause gears is unwatchable

I've had Gears TV for about 3 months now. The owner (Omar?) is working on a "Reloaded" IPTV? I'm really not sure what that's all about.

Gears TV had to shut down all their channels to make sure the Mcgregor/Mayweather fight went on ok. Which it did.

I like the Mayfair guide (EPG). I would give it 6/10 for quality and usability YMMV.

I don't mind that they shut their channels down for the fight. I'm sure they could have handled the traffic either way but they did this as a precaution. And I appreciate it. Have had them for some months now and zero lag or buffer (300mbps connection) and all events have been flawless. From ufc to boxing to wrestling. Don't know why people are complaining as their channels are almost all 1080p and flawless. My only complaint is that stupid gears tv watermark on the top right corner. Otherwise, it's the best service I've used. Have tried set tv and found channels to be lower quality and they often go down. Have tried players klub and every human should stay away. Customer service is trash. It's always the customers fault. And they swear at you if you call them out on an issue that they aren't addressing. I've also tried a few others. Gears has always had me covered. Just my 2 cents.
