Picked up a Minix Neo A2 wireless airmouse remote which I love as my Dreamlink T1 remote royally sucked, but for some reason none of the buttons on the A2 replicate the “Group” button on my Dreamlink! This blows :/ can anyone help show me how I can reprogram an A2 button to replicate the “Group” and possibly “EPG” button? THANK YOU
I'm guessing it's RF and has a USB receiver? If so I'm not sure there's anything you can do unless they have a software or a way to setup the remote or the receiver to change the commands.
The other option is getting a FLIRC which you can customize the buttons for, but it won't be RF which means it probably won't work with a Minix remote.
I don't Know what the minix remote is, but if it doesn't have any software to program it, you won't be able to do what you're trying to do. This is a limitation of the remote, not the box and this will apply for other boxes as well.
The alternative is to use stb emu, because you can bind remote buttons to any function you want.
It's not very intuitive though, and it would defeat the entire point of having a dreamlink altogether.
