Hey guys I am very new to these discuccions. I have just purchased epicstream a which I like a lot. But I am using it on an amazon fire tv with stb emulate which is working ok. I'd like to get the best box for this type of service. Indont really care the cost as I'm only buying 1 for my living room. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Isnt it better to get a MAG box?
Mag boxes are generally better becuse they are dedicated device made for iptv. The original mag boxes are good. Avov and dreamlink boxes are also good; i think they are better than the original mag boxes. I personally have an avov olli and it runs fine. My friend has a dreamlink t1plus and it runs fine as well. These days you dont really need a mag box because you can use kodi, perfect player and other apps for iptv on any android box but i personally perfer mag boxes because the setup is so easy and it just works.
Which Mag box is better the 254, or the 256?
I read somewhere the 256[upwards] isn't working properly. Is that true?
The remote that come with the avov olli is a bluetooth remote and it does not have a didicated tv button. There is also an avov ir remote for that you can buy seperate that has a dedicate button but i have never used it. Almost all the boxes are android except for the mag box. For simplicity the dreamlink t1 is the most straight foward and i think it loads directly into the iptv app. I would go with the t1 youre looking for a straight foward experiemce
I'm fairly new on this, a friend has a MAG254, I've had a Xiaomi Mi Box for a while, set it up with StbEMU a few days ago, trialed iptvsubs and paid for a month of wildside, besides the remote control (that I hope I can fix with a FLIRC and my cheap one-for-all universal remote), performance and stability is better on the Mi Box than on his MAG, and we both have the same ISP/speed. The Mi Box is great, much more stable and better performing than my older Nexus Player, runs Netflix, Kodi, Plex, Youtube and some casual games that the GF loves, supports 4K and doubles as a Chromecast, and so far, I've had no issues on 5GHz wifi. If you need wired LAN, a cheap USB LAN adapter would be enough, or that plus a powered USB hub if you also want to add an external HD.

I also should have added that it has to be wifi. I don't have the option to hard wire to the tv unfortunately. So a box with a good wifi reception.
