Before I start I'll say that the following might sound a bit cloak and dagger but let me attempt to reassure you that I'm just trying to find out what IPTV service this is so that I might try a trial myself.

A friend of mine has had an IPTV setup for them by someone they know where they paid a significant amount of cash to a guy who came to their house with a MAG-254 box that has been configured with an "unknown" IPTV service provider portal URL.

Things I know: the portal URL is configured as http://ee.fu88.ru/ in the MAG box inner portal and I also know that a request to this server returns a 302 redirect to http://148.251.11.178/stalker_portal/c/index.html . That's about all I've been able to glean so far.

The reason for this investigation is that in action, this actually looks like quite a good IPTV service with a good range of UK channels and a large VOD collection but I'd rather not have to shell out hundreds of £ and if at all possible, I'd like to be able to go direct to this IPTV service provider for a trial / short subscription instead of having to go through a reseller that I don't trust.
