Formuler Z7+

This is something I've come across in my constant search for an improvement over my Dreamlink T1.

As some of you may know, Formuler and Dreamlink are the same company. Formuler is the European version of Dreamlink and offers the T1 under a different name with the same DOL2 UI under the name MyTVONLINE for its software.

The above box is scheduled to be released in late November or early December. It has superior hardware to the existing T1+, and its Android 7.0!

For those currently using a Dreamlink T1+ and disappointed in the Android 4.4, this box should be the one you are looking at. I would expect Dreamlink to release their version of the box around the same time but I haven't yet found any information on the Dreamlink version.

Thanks for info. What providers support middleware and will this then limit what iptv providers one can use i wonder ? Does look a great box though!

About time better hardware was released. To be honest T1 Plus works brilliantly using DOL2 android apps work fine. Just wish they would release the DOL android app on play store.

How much?

Wonder if it will have the play store? I would like to get private internet access vpn on it!

So is this in addition to the new S Turbo and S Mini boxes that have just launched?

lukieno1

Well I’ve ordered an S Turbo, has mytvonline and Android 7.......only difference I can see is 1GB or RAM as opposed to 2GB on the Z7+ Like the idea of having the satellite tuner to record freesat to avoid using iptv for the soaps and other general crap the wife records Seller couldn’t confirm quite how the sat channels are accessed, whether it was through mytvonline or Kodi, I’ll report back here once I’ve had a play :)

Hi can anyone advise where I can order a formuler s turbo box to be shipped to Miami? Tried a few websites but not successful as the shipping to Miami is the issue..so I'm guessing a reseller in the US or Canada. Thanks.

FYI - this was released today. Ordered mine from PikaBox UK

_arrakis

Yeah noticed that too. However the official formuler site and fb page confirm it has now been released. I guess pika just haven’t updated their site

Dreamlink T2 will only have 1 gig of ram while the z7+ has 2.

Munstahmash

Well Dreamlink is essentially just a guy who buys enough to warrant a rebrand. My guess is he chose 1 gig option for lower cost. Either way I'll be getting the formuler over Dreamlink on this one

I see this has been released now.Listed on ebay UK at £97 Very tempted to get one

Is Dreamlink T2 & Formuler Z7+ identical boxes except from the ram? The epg is better with Dreamlink T2?

ticalico

Just got a shipment of 10 Formuler z7+ boxes if anyone is interested.

$170 CAD or $131.48 USD

If it's still using the build of Android meant for phones and tablets instead of Android TV, they can keep that. It's not the fact that it's stuck on v4.4 that I don't take advantage of Android on my T1+, it's that it's so frustrating to use Android with a remote instead of touch controls

TheTeamRanger

Much thanks for this post. Lot of info gained. Was going to pull the trigger on T1+. Will wait out another 3 months and decide. Until then will stick to Perfect Player/Kodi for now!

Another shitty chinese Phone OS box not made for TV and with 0 user interface design and 15 min EPG load.
