Box that supports my internet

Hey,

I have a Model MAG254w1. I'm in a college dorm and the internet requires a username and password, which I have, but I'm unable to find somewhere to input them. I'm looking to upgrade to a box that supports WPA2-Enterprise. Can anyone help me out?

If wireless is the only option for you to connect to internet you have two options.

  1. Use another router that can be bridged to your college's enterprise network. And have the box hard wired to this router.
  2. Use a laptop/PC and use Internet Connection Sharing to share the wireless internet over ethernet that connects to your box. For eg:- softwares like Connectify can help.

If you're talking about a web browser prompt that requires a username/password you probably need to contact your college's IT department and ask them to whitelist the MAC address of your iptv box.

maybe use a pc and go with a server that provides a m3u? then you will be all set
