Is it possible and has anyone done it? The model of the box is called TFC IPTV Set-Top-Box, but I noticed there's a E77 name which I think is the box's manufacture (OEM) name. Since we discontinued the paid subscription, I thought I can install a different OS so we can at least make use of its hardware. The problem is it doesn't seem to have a bios or something close to what android boxes have when you try to install roms. Hoping someone has any knowledge about this.
You'd really need to know what the guts of the box are. It appears to be a standard S905 box from pictures I can see online, but you'd have to take the box apart, look at the motherboard and see if there are any identifiable markings on there that would correspond with any known S905 boxes. If you can find a motherboard which has similar or the same markings, it is a good chance that the firmware for that box will work on it. There is always the possibility you will brick it too.
