CAN I INTEGRATE MY IPTV WITH A GUIDE?

by [deleted]

I'm currently set up using the server dtv.gold.tv.biz through STB emu. I'd love to be able to integrate that with Kodi or something for a half decent guide. Is this possible?

Don't even bother. Taking a stalker based server and putting it into kodi will strip out all the features you get now.

You'll lose all your vod content, as well as catchup if your provider supports it. Epg will be limited to 1 day only, and will populate with the same epg info you have now (if it works at all).

Also, it won't help the guide. Your guide info is pulled directly from the stalker server which is linked to your Mac address.

If your guide info is not accurate with a stalker server, there is no fix.

Stalker providers generally have some of the best epg information available to be honest, depending on the provider of course.

Your mileage may vary.

If your service supports m3u and not just MAG portal then yes. You will need either an xml link from the provider for EPG data, or use a separate service like IPTV-EPG to get xml guide data if the provider doesn't have it.

very possible, you can pull your own epg into an xml if you set up e.g. webgrab++ I previously used an addon called TVguide which was very nice, its made for nordic channels but supports xml input, not sure how much work or if possible so integrate streams from other iptv providers.

I would suggest using stb emulator pro. Guide doesn't show up on kodi. If you are looking for reliable provider go with https://www.iptvsubscription.net/
