Ace issues

by PaulieWoz

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else is having issues with Ace IPTV. My portal doesn't want to load and my in-laws is not working either.

Thanks

Ace has gone to shit completely, seen today same arrogant replies on twitter from them just like fab did when they had weeks of fuckups with servers and service down. Legendary arguments "reset your router" from fab and what did you expect for 10 quid, can be red today from ace also. Some kiddies just dont love to admit they fucked up.

Yep. Mine is wacky too. Lots of buffering. Most channels won't play

Unwatchable for me tonight and most likely going to suck during EPL blocking. Gonna use my rabbit ears

Yep

I changed to flawless because Ace had gotten so bad. So much looping and buffering. It used to be so good but has gone downhill.

This is the email I got after I submitted a ticket.

"American and Canadian users:

There is currently a outage on the transcontinental internet, between North America, and Great Britian (where our main server is). This is causing issues such as not being able to login, buffering for US/CA residents, incorrect password errors, and STB Blocked Messages. This is out of our hands, but it is confirmed. Hopefully, this will clear soon. Unfortunately, this is the core of the internet, and out of our hands. Great Britain users are not effected by this issue. "

It started working for me late at night, but this morning it's down again.

I just watched the Liverpool - United match in the UK.

For some reason the TV guide addon for Kodi wasn't loading any of the channels on my Fire TV box which was a pain in the arse.

I watched the match through the ace tv web browser on my PC with IPVanish. I streamed the match from Chrome on my PC to a Chromecast and the match played almost perfectly with only about 2 moments in the match where the stream hanged for a few seconds, but this could be down to my own network issues.

So the stream itself was fine, but the Kodi TV guide addon breaks fairly regularly imo which makes it barely workable for users like my parents / grandparents or even my girlfriend who don't have the tech knowledge to work around it.

Another annoying part was because of how I streamed the game there was a sort of "echo" on the audio on my 5.1 setup.

TLDR: The stream itself was fine and Ace are good in this regard, but the kodi TV guide addon regularly breaks which is a massive pain in the arse.

Yeah ive completely lost faith in ACE now been below par for far too long, any other recommendations for an alternative? Use it for football, ufc and ppv. Willing to pay around the £10 a month mark if its flawless

Ace has gone to shit. Was pretty good about six months ago but now there is buffering, resets and the Premier League doesn't work. Customer service do reply but just to pass the blame.

Had Ace one month, was a waste of money. Not a single day went by that it wasn't buffering so bad it was unwatchable.

Support said it was just me

You know what, for me it's actually working good other than that short issue a few days back. Maybe it makes a difference since I'm in Canada and possibly using a North American server.

I've tried 3 other providers and so far Ace is working well for me.

i think there has to be an element of fairness when it comes to complaints. i have ACE and yes they've had issues lately BUT only at weekends and the majority of issues that are being raised are in my opinion user related rather than the provider.

its easy to complain that a service is useless or bad but people are less willing to understand the technology behind IPTV and honestly if you don't know what you're buying and the risks involved then don't buy more than 1 month subs.

only issue i have with ACE is that they continue to get subscribers from the the UK and not give them a disclaimer about the EPL blocks and then tell trevor from coventry he needs a VPN when it stops working at the weekend.

no IPTV service is 100% "flawless" they all experience some semblance of problems, as long as you remember that then it'll be easier for you to accept.
