Do resellers use their own servers?

by mrspeaker89

Just wondering, if someone resells an IPTV service, are they using their own servers, or just simply reselling?

Want to become a provider. It’s like the mafia. You got to know someone who knows someone... and then you got to bring duffle bags of cash. Joe from the street can get access to the ones you google but it’s hit or miss

Good ones will not be published or listed

Some do, some don't. It all comes down to the actual feed provider anyway. If the feed provider having some shit going on then all the re-sellers/re-streamers will suffer from it whether they have their own servers or not.

most don't

They usually resell the same service or re stream.

As others have mentioned, most resellers do just that, resell existing services.. Hence why they are called resellers.

Someone who restreams, would generally refer to themselves as a provider, since ultimately they are providing server access to other resellers and customers.

We don't usually put a title on the actual sources or streamers, as they often don't deal with the public at all so the chances of you actually coming across one of these are rare.

it doesn't make sense for resellers to have own servers. Then again it doesn't mean all providers with servers have any control over the streams. Most of them have servers, but no streams

Owning own servers = control over EPG, VOD, Channel Names, Categories, multi account support, add-ons, apps. etc. They just don't have control over streams.

Very few IPTV Providers own their own streams. Flawless & Epicstream come to mind.

Many people use Livebox IPTV and streaming server to create and distribute their own channels and existing channels. See https://livebox.co.in

There are only 4-5 decent providers of IPTV who own their servers, everyone else sells from them.
