Just a question, I know there are dozens of iptv sellers and resellers but I believe they pretty much use other people to supply them the content. Does anyone know who genuinely controls these or details of iptvs who only stream from their own sources...I am confused but hoping to be enlightened!

Don;t be silly, who cares, yes there are 4-5 main providers, irrelevant to us users since they sell to resellers only.
And why are there only a few supplying many when surely it would be more lucrative to cut out the middle? It isn't a trick question its just something I have put out there because I am perplexed. How in the minefield of IPTV does anyone select the best non buffering stream? Particularly when you get lots of smokescreen and mirrors from resellers putting out their own propaganda?

Also I assume these stream providers are paid for their content, so why can't these monkeys get their shit together? Like I don't know, maybe don't have spanish subtitles up on your fuckin stream source, or stream the correct channel, or fix that "no senal" message that you're getting paid to broadcast, or clear that direcTV or Dishnetwork screensaver off the goddamn screen.
I often wonder if these are just people with a cable box at their mom's house, or legit businesses at a datacenter somewhere and how much IPTV providers are at the mercy of these clowns.
I think it varies. There are definately some wholesalers out there that providers use, but there are other methods providers can use to obtain streams as well.
One main method that is done, is re-streaming from legit "online streams". Example of this could be the psvue, where people pay for a selection of streams, and then restream using tools such as ffmpeg. This allows providers to technically, grab from official sources.
Some streams, or special events can come this way too from sites like nhl.com, hbogo, fsgo, stuff like that.
Another method of obtaining streams that seems to be getting popular on some forums is trading. For instance, if you have 2 receivers at your house you could stream those 2 channels for a few other channels in return. In some cases, you could even stream a channel and a provider may even give you credits in return, effectively making you money (even if indirectly).
