IPTV Security - disappointingly inadequate

by iptvplayer

IPTV is now regarded as the normal media solution for many users. Those which have embraced this relatively new technology, many be unaware on how security (in many cases) has been given a sideline.

Given the alarming rate in which IPTV is now dominating the market, one wonders if the security aspect has significantly improved?

Surprisingly, after a year researching and testing different IPTV Player APPS, middleware solutions, and STB's (boxes), we found that the security protocols which have been currently adopted, rate quite poor in terms of keeping data secure. The amount of data breaches and vulnerabilities were significant enough for us to focus our attention on developing a secure solution. The Eazy IPTV Player and control panel (middleware) were initially released in beta form, giving the market a new lease of life for secure IPTV-related applications.

Hopefully, this will start a trend of new innovations in releasing more secure APPs which will result in less leeching of content, and securing servers which currently are (in the majority of cases) open to data breaches.

Is this an ad or a term paper?

Where is this year of data that was collected during the research and testing?

Does the Eazy IPTV Player and control panel only work with a service that you are offering?

If it's middleware it would require every provider to switch over to it, have you been in direct contact with providers about such a conversion?

What makes Eazy IPTV Player and control panel more secure than current apps and middleware?

The data breaches that you mention, are they IPTV focused or just big data breaches in general?

Eazy IPTV Player and control panel were initially released in beta form, but are they out of beta now? Is your whole ad or post or whatever it is dependent upon a beta platform?

We are consumers here, you know? Who cares for backend data breaches, that's providers problem.

Same as saying is our security of broadband connection secure as someone might hack the ISP's core routers, blla blla, what a useless post wrapped in marketing sauce.

I'm so confused.

Just one question, who is this meant for, service providers or end users?

Yes, I often wonder how secure my pirated content is.
