Should we recommend IPTV

by johny696969

I don't understand this. If someone ask can we direct them towards the reviews. I know if my iptv is buffer free I am happy that means good service and not to many people taking up Bandwidth and CPU. I get better streaming experience.

It maybe a trend everybody goes to one until overload then they get hit with a so called DDOS and everybody then goes on to the next best thing.

I used to recommend it, but now I don't because of this exact reason.

Same same.. I also switched from yearly subscriptions to monthly, because of this.. I also skip a month, when I am not at home or off-season..

Most GOOD providers will upgrade their hardware to ensure that their customers are happy. Those with fly by night operations will let you stay with the buffering and the problems. I'd say if you're happy with your provider, why not? Just make sure that the people you are recommending it to aren't fucking morons who will come back and bite you in the ass if there are problems. ie if their internet is shit, if they buy the wrong box, if they can't figure out the guide, etc etc. Almost daily we have people posting in here who you swear shouldn't be allowed to breed, let alone have IPTV. Those are the type of people you don't want to recommend, as they will be your headache, and if you try to pass them off to your reseller, odds are they will just tell you where to go and you'll both be without TV haha.

You definitely have to toe the line between your own self-interest and being helpful but /u/Blue-Thunder put it best. The providers have a stake in this too, I'm sure they attract more customers via word of mouth over any kind of advertising so it would be in their best interest to upgrade their hardware, increase bandwidth, etc to make sure that new customers can be referred to them and not deteriorate everybody's experience

Just coz it works good for one person doesn't mean it will work good for everyone. I'm a reseller and sell few providers and this is from experience.

I’m an information junkie. When I first started in this hobby I asked alot of questions and got alot of help from the people in this subreddit. For me, its about paying it forward. I have two services I really like. I know mostly everything I need to know about IPTV thanks to all that help. I only come here to answer questions and help other people if I can.

So, I will absolutely make recommendations. If the providers I recommend can’t handle the traffic, I will find a new provider and change my recommendations.

This has already happened. I loved Fab when they first started. I recommended them often. They fell apart and I switched. Love my new services and have for months. Recently tried Fab again and they seem to be solid again. Still prefer my other providers but good to see they are back.
