So i just got the new Fire TV, and put Kodi on there along with my subscription of Vader Streams, and unlike my Firestick that works perfectly , this seems to buffer a lot, im using the newest version of Kodi, and my wifi isnt the problem, the problem is the picture, the picture is lagging and buffering, the audio is running smooth though. Any ideas?
Make sure you go into the vaders addon and test a few different servers under server preferences. Usually auto is fine, but manually choosing the one closest to you can make a pretty big difference. Also Vaders is updating servers today so that could also have something to do with it.
Kodi just released a new version. That might be an issue. Also, Vader did a big server upgrade today and they are still working through some issues, so make sure that its not a service problem. Maybe try running the same channel on their web portal or your Firestick at the same time so you know whether the issue is service related.
If it's a on Kodi 17.5, they just re-released it as 17.5.1 to fix bugs on Fire TV. You could try to install that, or try perfect player
Ive tried all your suggestions, still laggy :( the audio is perfect but the picture still lags, it lags and runs smooth for a good 30 seconds, then goes back to the lag. I’ll try perfect player :/
So i tried perfect player , and it works flawlessly, so I’m guessing its the app? Its weird cause it works perfectly on my Firestick which is in the room next to me, and the router is next to my Fire TV and yet it seems to have problems.

are you sure you kept all variables the exact same? Same version of kodi, same plugin versions, same iptv server, same location etc?
When I say same location, I mean is your firestick and firetv directly beside eachtoher? Having them in different areas of the house could potentially screw with your results.
I know you say your wifi isn't the problem, and maybe it's not. But we get people posting here everyday and the wifi often IS the problem and they don't know it.
May we ask what troubleshooting you have done to confirm your wifi is not the issue?
