I have been using my mag254 w1 and just last night, I was asked for the username and password for the device. Where do I find this information? I was never given it during the initial set up. Is there a way to find this out?

I think GOLD iptv has a username / password for first time setup, hence it has to be provider who has set it.
You shouldn't need a username and password unless your using the inner portal. Mac should be just fine.
Did you update firmware and after it asked ?
I think that may be your IPTV provider asking for username/password not the Mag
Don’t have a MAG so I can’t be certain but it sounds like a provider problem not a Mag issue. I would contact your IPTV provider and see if there is an issue with your subscription.
