Hi guys just a heads up to all you IPTV guys who may see sky sports hd gone by the january the 31st. We all mostly know IPTV guys source from virmin cable feeds to get sky sports in HD. If globe (wholesale) etc manage to get sky go or sky test demo kits cracked then fair enough but virgin have announced today
**Customers who do not replace their older set top box(es) will lose service on this equipment from a date which we will communicate in advance via letter. Customers who are paying for Sky Sports channels in HD do not replace their older set top box(es) by 31st January 2018 will no longer be able to receive Sky Sports channels in HD on their older box(es) after this date. When we remove the Sky Sports channels in HD from older set top boxes, we will remove the monthly Sky Sports HD charge from those customers who do not have any other HD box(es).
This means that the VHD/V+ boxes still in circulation will be void since they still use cards to connect to view tv
All that will happen is directs will be run from an actual sub’d box. It’s slightly more expensive, but as long as HDCP can still be bypassed it’s all good and that isn’t changing any time soon.
